This two-day, seven-hour, fully interactive workshop is designed for scouts, analysts, and coaches who have previously attended our LEVEL 1 workshop and wish to further develop their scouting knowledge.
The workshop follows directly from our ‘Level 1 – Recruitment and Player Scouting Workshop’.
This fully interactive workshop will teach advanced scouting techniques used at professional football clubs for scouting and analysing upcoming opponents.
The workshop focuses on the principles of team attacking play and how to assess and scout teams’ defensive strategies during set-pieces.
Attendees will learn how to observe and assess attacking movements and patterns of play. They will also learn about different playing styles used by teams and individual players in forward positions.
The workshop will teach how to observe and assess defending set-pieces, with a particular focus on defending corners.
Participants will learn the principles of defending corners, how teams structure their defence, and the roles and responsibilities of each player involved.
Gain an understanding of the goalkeeper’s role and responsibilities in defending corners, including assessing their communication abilities and decision-making skills.
Attendees will learn how to assess and identify good and poor play during defending corners and how to highlight strengths and weaknesses. Using fully interactive tasks throughout the workshop, we will guide you through the process of scouting and analysing opponents, as well as compiling your own scout reports to meet the standards used at the highest level.
