WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?
This two-day, seven-hour, fully interactive workshop is designed for scouts, coaches, and agents who have previously attended our LEVEL 1 through LEVEL 4 – PRO-ELITE workshops.
This seven-hour workshop is the ‘Recruitment and Player Scouting Workshop – Level 5 – SUPREME – PRO’. Due to the workshop’s nature and the tasks assigned, there are two to three days between day 1 and day 2 of the workshop to allow attendees to complete their homework tasks from day 1.
In this workshop, attendees will further enhance their understanding of the Scouting Process and how Recruitment Departments function through interactive tasks and scenarios encountered while working at a professional football club.
The focus of this workshop is assessing players’ on-field playing relationships. Each video task in the workshop centres around different playing positions and how those players interact with their teammates. Attendees will be required to scout multiple players simultaneously in each video task.
Advanced observation techniques and scout report writing techniques will be taught to efficiently assess multiple players.
Furthermore, this workshop will cover auditing the current playing squad before making recommendations for potential signings.
Participants will learn how to build recruitment recommendation lists and utilize the free-agent and loan market.
Additionally, attendees will face real-life recruitment scenarios, including working at a European club and preparing for an upcoming transfer window.
Scouting handouts and software will be provided to all participants before and after the workshop, enabling them to complete their own scouting reports using various scouting templates for different assignments.
Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will be presented with a A.F.C.A.S. workshop certificate CIMSPA-accredited.
