SESSION SCHEDULE: The workshop is spread over two evenings, consisting of three and a half hour sessions each.

WHO IS THE WORKSHOP FOR?
This two-day, seven-hour, fully interactive workshop is designed for scouts, coaches, and agents who have previously attended our LEVEL 1 workshop and wish to further develop their scouting knowledge.
This workshop is a continuation of the Level 1 workshop and builds upon the skills and concepts learned in that level.
Participants will learn additional scouting skills and advanced techniques used at professional levels.
Gain a better understanding of how professional clubs scout players and further structure your own scouting reports.
Learn how to assess and scout player performance in positions not covered in the Level 1 workshop, including the goalkeeper and forward positions, among others.
Identify good and poor decision-making in player performance.
Explore the important area of assessing the signing potential of a player and determining their fit within a club’s squad.
Interactive tasks and unique scenario exercises will be used to develop the ability to assess the signing potential of any player at any level.
Scouting handouts and software will be provided to all participants before and after the workshop to complete their own scouting reports, including multiple scouting templates for different assignments.
Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will be presented with a A.F.C.A.S. workshop certificate CIMSPA-accredited.

- Completing different types of scout reporting and assignments.
- Assessing players’ performance in additional playing positions.
- Learning how to assess the performance of a goalkeeper with a structured approach.
- Exploring further advanced areas of player performance in tasks.
- Participating in numerous video scouting tasks.
- Engaging in group tasks and discussions.
- Recognizing good and poor decision-making in player performance.
- Learning how to assess the signing potential of a player.
- Understanding how to grade a player’s performance while assessing their signing potential.
- Gaining insights into “Squad balance” and how squads are built.
- Assessing the signing potential of young players making their professional debut.
- Use video footage to practice creating scout reports during the workshop.
- Homework tasks will be assigned to provide further opportunities for you to apply your newly acquired skills and receive feedback during the workshop.
