A.F.C.A.S. FOUNDER – GED SEARSON
Ged Searson has nearly 30 years of football coaching experience, having worked at various levels in the UK and Europe. Throughout his career, he has been mentored by renowned figures such as the legendary Sir Bobby Robson. Additionally, Ged has accumulated over 14 years of experience as a professional football scout, enabling him to deliver Scouting and Coaching Workshops and Courses of the highest caliber.
He has previously served as a First-Team Domestic and European scout for Premier League Club West Ham United and has held the esteemed position of Chief Scout at two Football League clubs. In addition to his domestic involvement, Ged has also worked at the international level. Notably, as National team Chief Scout he was a key part of the successful Malawi National team during the 2022 AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS, where the team achieved their first-ever progression to the knockout stages in their football history.
Ged imparts his extensive knowledge to workshop and course attendees through fully interactive sessions.
