How Big Sam could shock Manchester United this weekend

Even the most ambitious of best USA online casino probably doesn’t really believe that West Bromwich Albion could take anything from their Premier League match against Manchester United this weekend.

Big Sam Allardyce replaced Slaven Bilic as a man who has never been relegated from the Premier League, yet the main highlight of his tenure to date was stealing a draw from Liverpool in his first match.

Since then, there hasn’t been the bounce the WBA hoped for when they sacked Bilic and it is hard to buy into the suggestion that Allardyce is doing any better than the Croatian would have done.

It’s another huge game for the Baggies this weekend against a Man United side who love playing away from home.

And, the Albion don’t enjoy matches at the Hawthorns right now to say the least.

Yet, West Brom could cause an upset here – yes, they really could.

Allardyce’s record of never being relegated from Premier League is under massive threat right now – but a win against United could be the fire starter he needs to protect that famous fact.

The former England manager needs something to change and Allardyce has always loved getting one over the bigger clubs (remember his feud with Arsene Wenger?) and three points against a United side who are flying right now would be a much-needed boost after a desperate run since arriving at the Hawthorns.

Recently, Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton showed that pace and power can unsettle the United defence, two things that Allardyce has never been afraid to call upon – and, something WBA actually have in their locker.

To date, Big Sam has played a style of football that we all expected, and as a result sit a huge 11 points from safety.

So why not surprise United an actually attack?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team clearly have a soft middle at the moment and if that is pin-pointed you never know what might happen.

Put Maguire and Lindelof under-pressure. If Matic plays, get around him and make him run. Look to win set-pieces high up the pitch (like Allardyce needs telling to do that) as United hate defending them right now.

Get Sami Ajayi in the box as often as possible.

Ask Robert Snodgrass to wind as many people up as possible.

United may well rest and rotate a little for this one given that they can be super-confident of winning. Therefore, if Allardyce has a clear gameplan it could pay off.

Attack, and attack with pace. Be direct. Keep it tight at the back but you may as well die trying. The real money pokies could make a killing here by backing WBA as the odds will be utterly in their favour.
